Good to know for Vaughan homes
Woodbridge heritage district
The Woodbridge heritage conservation district plan has sections on windows, shutters and doors, and City review is required for work in the district. Read it before choosing a style.
Kleinburg-Nashville
Exterior alterations in the Kleinburg-Nashville heritage district need a heritage permit in addition to other City approvals. The guidance calls for wood windows and doors, so check what is allowed on your street before you choose any material.
New living at the VMC
The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is a growing city centre with high-rise living. If you own a condo there, speak to your condominium corporation about exterior changes first.
Questions Vaughan homeowners ask
The City of Vaughan has a page on door and window openings, and general guidance says widening an existing opening needs a permit. Ask the City about a same size swap before you order.
Yes. Both have heritage conservation districts. Woodbridge's plan covers windows and doors, and Kleinburg-Nashville requires a heritage permit for exterior alterations. Check your address with the City before choosing materials, as district guidance can favour wood.

The colours available vary from brand to brand. The popular ones can be picked in our online configurator, and on request we can offer any RAL colour. You can browse the full range on our RAL colours page.
